ABOUT THE AUTHOR Wendy Shipman is a two-time Self-Published Author. In 2019, her first book called Inside Of Me, was released. She is the proud winner of the 2020 Christian Indie Award Winner in the Personal Growth category for Inside Of Me. This book also received a Readers' Favorite 5-Star review. Her second book, that debut in 2021, is called I Died So I Could Live. Wendy’s platform revolves around mental illness. She wanted to pursue more with her first book to bring awareness about mental health, so her next adventure was making Inside Of Me into a short film. The shooting of the film was in her hometown of Summerville and Charleston, SC. Wendy is a native of Summerville, South Carolina, but currently resides in Birmingham, AL. She has many roles ranging from wife, mother, daughter, sister; but her most recent roles have been an author, filmmaker, executive producer, and actress. Wendy and her husband Mark share three children together.
