Bob Skoric

Bob Skoric has spent nearly 40 years helping individuals reconnect with the world through sound. As an audioprosthologist and board-certified professional in hearing instrument sciences, he combines technical expertise with a sincere dedication to improving the lives of his patients. He is the founder and president of Beltone-Skoric Hearing Aid Center, which has expanded to 37 locations throughout northern Michigan. His commitment to the field remains unwavering: to help people regain their hearing and enhance their quality of life. Born in Eastern Europe and now living in West Palm Beach, Florida, Bob Skoric initially pursued a music career. For over three decades, he performed Serbian folk and Balkan music, both locally and internationally. This background in music gave him a profound understanding of sound's emotional power. Growing up in Donji Stepci, he was inspired by his father and uncles, who played the guitar. At age eight, he began playing guitar and later discovered his passion for the accordion, which he studied under a respected teacher. His hard work and dedication earned him the “First Accordion of North America and Canada” title in 1985. When he's not working with patients, he enjoys spending time in his home studio recording acoustic music and cherishing moments with his family. Skoric's early experiences with music allowed him to appreciate sound deeper, understanding it not just as a scientific phenomenon but as a vital part of human connection. This appreciation for sound led him to a career in hearing care, where he now assists those who have withdrawn from the world due to hearing loss. Though not a doctor, he is certified in audioprosthology and hearing instrument sciences. He assesses hearing loss and fits patients with hearing aids to restore their connection with the world. He is also a member of the International Hearing Society and has served as Vice President of the Michigan Alliance of Hearing Care Professionals. Bob has helped over 20,000 individuals regain their hearing and improve their lives. His work goes beyond simply fitting hearing aids; he is dedicated to educating patients about the importance of early intervention and the solutions available. Bob Skoric’s mission continues to inspire his work. His commitment to helping people hear again drives him daily, and he remains dedicated to ensuring that no one faces hearing loss alone.
