David Hisel has been a back-end developer for over 15 years slinging PHP, Perl, and SQL. The last few years he has spent taming Amazon Web Services to scale services for National Geographic, GameHouse and most recently as Platform Architect at Julep Beauty, Inc. He has a passion for injecting automation into development processes and playing with open source tools. In his off time, he enjoys playing chess and camping with his wife and two daughters.
