Eric Crosby Design

I am a senior visual designer specializing in graphic design, strategic design planning, brand management and consumer color trend analysis for innovative product and design solutions. My experience is diverse. I have worked in global fortune 500/1000 companies as well as small entrepreneurial businesses. My strengths include visual communication, color and material forecasting, consumer trend research, and design methods for research and strategic planning. My professional experience as a visual designer encompasses; graphic design, publishing, advertising, marketing, retail, product graphics, color and trend forecasting and design research. I have worked in print graphics for marketing and advertising organizations and collaborated with photographers and writers for campaigns and retail sales. I have had extensive experience working with paint manufacturers, print brokers, merchandise vendors, press checks and familiar with the printing process. My product management experience includes work conducted as a member of Motorola’s Consumer Experience Design organization. While at Motorola, I created color, material and finish (CMF) solutions for mobile devices while working in a cross-matrix organization that included industrial design, user experience, marketing, engineering and various other business teams. Working with marketing, I provided the “look and feel” for Motorola brands and product launches as well as refreshes of existing lines, extending product life cycles and targeting specific consumer segmentation. I have also managed programs with external teams which included liquid coating manufacturers, pigment specialists, material suppliers and trend consultants.
