Lauren (Heiligenthal) Demuth

I am a Christian who seeks to encourage other Christians and be encouraged and challenged in return. Aletheia (αλήθεια) is the Greek word for truth; therefore, this blog essentially focuses on the truth of God's Word. Through blogging, journaling, research, poetry, and teaching, I have discovered more about who I am and who I aspire to be. I believe that the Lord has given me the desire to write so that I can find my way back to Him when the chaos of the world envelops me. It is my sincerest hope that my writing can help others as well. In addition to my love for writing, I have earned a B.A. in Intercultural Studies (missions) and a minor in TESOL from Lee University as well as an M.A. (in Religion) in Biblical Studies from Cincinnati Christian University. I believe the Lord has called me to missions abroad in the future, but for now I strive to make my current home my mission field as we all are called to share Christ wherever we are. I also currently have a home business creating 3D resin-printed models for tabletop gaming.
