I have been a facilities manager for over 20 years, looking after a range of buildings. The job is a great one for thowing up new challenges on a daily basis, irrespective of the size or location of the buildings. One day can be leaky roof problems, the next can be getting ready for a VIP visit. I must admit a bias for cleaning related issues, as I came from a cleaning and maintenance background.
