Nadir Lahmeur is a business leader with over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare packaging industries. Based in the United States, he has managed markets across the Americas while working closely with manufacturing sites in Europe and Asia. As General Manager, Americas for SGD Pharma, he oversaw operations in North and Latin America, with Mexico and Brazil serving as major growth markets. During his tenure, regional revenues grew nearly fourfold, supported by strategic transformation, innovation, and expansion. Nadir earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from McGill University in 1994. That same year, he began his career at Valois of America, now part of Aptar Pharma, where he served as Project Development Manager and Technical Sales Engineer. In this role, he worked with leading pharmaceutical companies to introduce nasal spray pumps and aerosol delivery systems. He was responsible for supporting products through late-stage clinical trials and into commercial launch, ensuring alignment between European design teams and U.S. clients while meeting technical and regulatory standards. In 1997, he joined SGD Pharma and advanced through senior roles over nearly three decades. As Director of Sales for North America, he achieved six consecutive years of double-digit growth and expanded into new markets. Later, as Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Americas, he doubled revenues while strengthening customer support and supply chain reliability. In 2016, he was appointed General Manager of the Americas, where he created a new U.S. legal entity and commercial structure. He expanded operations in Brazil, secured a significant capital investment, and guided the region through the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. He also launched a beauty division, building leadership and strategy for successful market entry. He has pursued advanced executive training in operations, finance, and management, including Financial Accounting through Harvard Business School's Online Program. He contributed to PDA Technical Report 43, which addressed pharmaceutical glass defects. Beyond his career, he supports charitable initiatives in the United States, Morocco, and the Caribbean, and contributes to cultural institutions in New York.
