I am a mother, wife and a writer. My husband Tim and I have one son, Alex. We live in central Pennsylvania and I work full time as a writer/editor for a large university. Tim is an attorney. We love hiking, doing community service together as one of our favorite bonding time. I know that there is more to life even in my golden age. I decided to have the surgery finally on my knee because I felt that it would be able to improve my activities. I know several other people who have had knee replacements and they’re back on the courts and doing just fine. I thought with my attitude, I’ll be back there too. So that’s why I finally decided to go ahead and do it. And I still have another knee to have done. My husband was great. Ordinarily he doesn't take care of the house, that’s my job. He’ll do the outdoor things. He was able to help with the cooking. We might have had soup more times than normal but that was fine. He would help with the exercises too. It’s amazing how you cannot even lift your leg off the bed at first. He had lots of encouragement for me and would help. It's a big relief that a great care for Knee Replacement Recovery is available for gaining my strength after my operation.
