I am a counseling psychologist and faculty member at UMass Boston. My interests in psychology and human behavior focus on suicide and suicide prevention through research on understanding the suicidal state of mind, transitions from suicide ideation to attempt, and how best to train a broad range of clinicians to engage in suicide risk detection and treatment. I am particularly interested in the application of affective computing technology.
